SUMMARY:WOW Service Project Activity “Blessing Bags”
DESCRIPTION:We plan to get together as a group and make Car Blessing Bags so everyone will have a bag of useful and edible items to hand out of our car window the next time we see someone in need.\nThis will be a ‘group participation’ project so we are asking each person to bring 10-12 of an item from the attached list. When we get together, everyone will share their items and go home with a completed Car Blessing Bag.  We recommend shopping at Dollar Tree to keep the cost down and you may be able to find many of the items in multi-packs to save you even more .  Please let us know which item(s) you will be bringing so that the bags will have a nice variety.\nPlease come and participate even if the cost is prohibitive for you right now.  We will plan on having extra items so everyone will go home with a complete Car Blessing Bag.  And if you would like to participate but can’t make it to the meeting, get your items to us on Sunday and we will make a bag for you and get it to you!     ( ** items STILL NEEDED)\n\nSocks (this is the #1 most asked-for item)                 DEBBIE\n**Gloves                                                                  \n**Water bottle\nBandages                                                                           KATHY\nWet wipes                                                                          Jama\n**Toothbrush and toothpaste\n**Sunscreen\n**Tuna & cracker packs\nSingle-serving snacks like trail mix, nuts, crackers  NENA\n**Nail clippers\n**Chapstick\n**A utensil…..either plastic or metal \n**A comb\nDrawstring Backpacks to pack the items in                  KATHY\n\n
