Kids

The Bible has a lot to say about the teaching and raising up of children in the family of God. “Train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Prov. 22:6) At Neighborhood Church we value children as important members of the family. As such, we encourage families to worship together, and then dismiss the children ages 3-10 to Children’s Church just before the message.

Nursery is available for ages 0-3 throughout the service, but you are welcome to keep all your children with you if you prefer.

Youth

We know that the middle and high school years are a time where students are most in need of kindness, understanding, community and someone to walk alongside them as they grow in Christ. Our student ministry provides just that, connecting students with one another as well as with leaders who want to support them in their journey of faith.

There will be a large group group gathering once a month during the church service.

Home Groups

Home Groups are designed to provide a small group gathering experience for followers of Jesus to become invested in one another. They are a safe place to know and be known by others, as you are challenged to grow in your walk with Jesus Christ.

We currently have 4 groups that meet weeknights in homes. The primary elements of home groups at NC are the study of the Bible, worship, prayer for one another, and encouragement to use our spiritual gifts to edify one another.

Neighborhood Church partners with (prays for, supports financially, serves alongside) the following local, Christ-honoring teams/organizations.

The mission of God’s Vast Resources (GVR) is to connect individuals and organizations, and together meet the needs in the Tucson community. The non-profit organization, founded in 2013, reaches the needy in Tucson via the GVR Food Pantry and Clothing Closet, the Mobile Resource Center, and Help for the Homeless Tuesday's offering Showers, Clothing, Food, Resource Couseling, Spritual Guidance and Prayer.

The purpose of 4Tucson is to identify difficult problems within the city and bring the expertise of people from a wide variety of backgrounds to focus together to discover and implement long-term solutions. The Mission: To unite and mobilize Christians, empowering them to put biblical principles into action as we engage our city’s most systemic problems.

J17 Ministries exists to encourage Christian Leaders in our community by training them in strategic and prioritized alignment with what Jesus believed was of primary importance. We believe the key to people discovering who He really was and how much God loves them would be our humble, visible, border-less love for one another as His followers.
