Acts #32: The Church Empowered "Worthy of Worship." (Acts 10:36-48)

In Acts 10:25,  Peter enters Cornelius’ home and Cornelius’ perhaps instinctual response is to “fall down and worship Peter.”

      • I’ve highlighted that a bit the last 2 Sundays in part to expose something in today’s text.
  • I know very few people who “fall down and worship” GOD, let alone a person who is not even worthy of worship.
      • “How dare someone worship another person! We bow only to God!”
        • When’s the last time you literally bowed to your Lord?
        • Why do we get offended when people humble their posture before other people, but we rarely - if ever - humble our posture before our Lord?
          • Perhaps the person we’re criticizing actually has a better handle on HOW to worship, albeit, certainly toward the wrong target?
