Our text today is in the context of spiritual warfare.

• Angels are real
• Demons are real
• Principalities, powers, rulers, authorities who all exist in rebellion against God the Creator of all things - are real.
• YOU are real, spiritually AND physically.
• The Bible tells us these evil spirits rebel against God by tempting humans to believe anything other than the Truth.
• And Jesus tells us if we know the truth, the truth will set us free.

Ephesians 6 tells us believers 

• to be strong in the Lord - in His mighty power
• To put on the armor of God
• That we don’t fight people - we fight evil spiritual beings

And Paul - in this last teaching before he begins his acknowledgments and conclusion - says we fight not only with the Word of God but by lifting one another up in prayer - not just for the typical tings we pray for - but for God’s power in us, that we may be able to function in our gifts and roles and ministries as God intended.  Let’s read…
