In Jeremiah we read:

• "circumcise yourselves to the Lord and remove the foreskins of your hearts” by repenting of their sins (Jer. 4:4). 
  • God is - and always has been - and always will be - after your HEART.
  • That’s the point of the Abrahamic Covenant of Faith as the foundation underneath and throughout the Mosaic Covenant of Law. 
  • God isn’t after obedience. He’s after your heart, which, when captured, is obedient to His ways and not sin’s ways.
