Let’s discuss how the Tabernacle fits with the New Covenant…

To best understand God in the Old Covenant, one thing to keep in mind as you read it is that nearly everything God does points to Jesus.

• I say “nearly” everything because there were some things God allowed for that, well, didn’t point to Jesus… 
  • Like the Kings Era. God never intended for Israel to have a human king. 
  • And as you know if you’ve been around me long enough, the scriptures seem very clear to me that God never intended for Israel to have a Temple. 
    • The Tabernacle? Yes. The Temple? Man’s idea, not God’s.
• While the Tabernacle is considered the “temporary temple” in Israel’s worldview, the scriptures suggest otherwise.
