ISO A Biblically Sound, Spirit-filled Church "I am who You say I am" 11/27/2022
Who exactly are we? According to Ephesians:
- I am blessed
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (1:3) - I am chosen, I am holy, I am loved,
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love (1:4) - I am adopted
he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will (1:5) - I am redeemed, I am forgiven
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace (1:7) - I am marked
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, (1:13)
- I am included
sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. (1:13-14)
- I am called
having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, (1:18) (Blank Slide)
Over the past four weeks we've had some wonderful teaching as we explore the gifts of prophecy and tongues and how Neighborhood Church, believing the sign gifts are for today, need to be investing time and prayer on how to be a more Biblically-Sound, Spirit-Filled Church that provides a space for the body to bring forth these gifts.
