God has been greatly gracious and patient throughout history. We’ve seen the work of the Holy Spirit…preparing hearts.  It’s as if humans had a new job and were in a “probation period” for a time.  But that probation is over…Christ is risen, he is on the throne, people are hearing the Gospel…..salvation and judgment are both Ready

This leads to then our third passage: Luke 12:40

• Luke 12:40 (KJV)  Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
• The So What here
  • If both salvation and judgment are ready…..we have to be also.
  • Christ is teaching here in this passage the things we need not worry about and the thing we should 
    • Luke 12:31 (KJV)  But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
